Condition
Original canvas. Some very minor paint loss in the upper left and lower left corners otherwise the work appears in good overall condition.
Under ultraviolet light there are some retouchings along the left and right edges and one or two near centre of upper edge; also some areas in the river and two or three spots near the feet of the standing lions.
Held in a gilt plaster frame.
