Condition
The boards appears to be sound and the works appear in good original condition.
Old Houses, Haarlem: Ultraviolet light reveals retouching along lower edge and a few isolated areas in the sky.
Lock on the North Holland Canal, Amsterdam: ultraviolet light reveals a small spot of retouching in the lower left corner, an area in the lower right part of they sky in the thicker area of paint and a one or two areas in the grass bank in the foreground.
Held in matching gilt wood frames under glass with canvas insets; unexamined out of frames.
