Condition
Original canvas, the work appears in good overall condition with some strong areas of impasto.
Ultraviolet light reveals flecks of retouching through the canvas, predominantly located in the sky with a more concentrated area near the centre of the composition, very faintly visible to the naked eye.
Held in a gilt plaster frame.
