Condition
Original canvas. There is a small protrusion in the upper left corner and a few isolated areas of craquelure; the surface may benefit from a light clean otherwise the work appears in good overall condition.
Ultraviolet light reveals a few areas of retouching, including in the dark central oval shape, along the upper left edge and near the centre of the lower edge.
Held in a simple wooden frame.
