Catalogue Note

A sumptuous limited edition facsimile of Audubon's monumental double-elephant folio Birds of America, first published in London from 1827 through 1839. The Abbeville edition was produced in conjunction with the National Audubon Society to commemorate the bicentennial of Audubon's birth. This is no. 58 of 350 sets that were produced, signed by the presidents of the National Audubon Society and of Abbeville Publishing.
