"The Vulva represents the power of woman on earth. Life begins in the womb and this miraculous organ is carried by woman. We all enter this world through the same door, and we call this door the Vulva.

I created this work to pay homage to all mothers, who have endured violence, who have been ill-treated and have given their lives to bring forth new life into this world."
