Description

  • 96cm. high, 247.5cm. wide, 102cm. deep; 3ft. 1 3/4in., 8ft. 1½in., 3ft. 4in.
the reeded top above a central draw ornamented with a tablet depicting a recumbant lion on carved baluster legs surmounted by lion's masks and terminating claw feet

Condition

Good overall condition, colour and patina both good. Well carved. The back edge has unexplained screw holes and cut to the rear frieze, possibly suggesting that is had some form of rear gallery. Minor losses to carving on feet and overall with minor marks, scratches and age cracks consistent with age and use.
