the teabowl and saucer possibly painted by P.E. Schindler, both painted with a single Chinoiserie figure, the teabowl with indianische Blumen to the reverse, the saucer with three concentric circles in iron-red, both with gilt z9. mark, Incised Dreher's mark x to inside of footrim, the stand painted with a Kauffahrtei scene, all with scrollwork cartouches embellished with Böttger lustre and iron-red foliate scrolls, with borders of gilt foliate scrolls at the rims, the stand, gilt 48. mark, impressed numeral 23.

Condition

Saucer: There are some small areas of rubbing to the gilding at the corners of the quatrelobe cartouche and to the numeral on the reverse. Teabowl: Good condition, no damage noted. Stand: There is an area of wear to the gilding on the rim located at 2 o'clock on the clock face and a small area of wear to the painted scene and Böttger lustre in the lower right corner.
