each piece brightly painted with a vignette of shepherds and shepherdesses in a landscape within a green-mosaik band border edged in gilt foliate scrolls, comprising 2 large tureens, covers and stands, (the stands: 44.7cm., 17 5/8 in. wide), 10 soup plates, (22.5cm., 8 7/8 in. diam.), 1 plate, (23.5cm., 9 1/4 in. diam.), 2 small oval sauceboat stands, (21.8cm., 8 5/8 in. wide), 3 five sided scalloped-edged dishes, (23.9cm. diam., 9 3/8 in. diam.), 2 small five sided scalloped-edged dishes, (19cm., 7 1/2 in. diam.), 2 large dishes, (30.5cm., 12. in. diam.), and 3 large dishes, (33.5cm., 13 1/4 in. diam.), crossed swords and dot marks in underglaze-blue, various impressed marks.

Condition

The service is overall in very good condition, one of the large dishes has a hairline crack to the rim, and one of the putti finials on a tureen cover has been repaired at the terminal.
