the gently curving single-edged watered-steel blade with inlaid gold inscriptive cartouche, the hilt with marine-ivory grips and gold-overlaid foliate decoration on the pommel and cross-guard, the leather-covered wood scabbard with en-suite decoration on steel fittings and chape

Condition
In general good condition, some minor patches of oxidisation to the blade and mounts, some gold overlay missing, one of steel fittings on scabbard re-adjusted on the wrong way (wrong side), the scabbard with breaks and ware, notably - end broken with tip of blade showing, as viewed.
