Description

moulded in relief with an opacified tin glaze enhanced with turquoise, the cobalt blue elevated inscription in thuluth against a ground of leaves and scrolls, raised pseudo-calligraphic border above

Condition

In fair condition, broken and restored with some associated overpainting, some rubbing and subsequent fading to part of lustre decoration on surface, set in old metal mount for hanging, areas of bright lustre, as viewed.
