- silk metal & metal thread textile
the black silk ground embroidered with silver and silver-gilt metal threads with tughra of Mehmed V surrounded by a laurel wreath, with crossed quivers tied with a ribbon and paired garlands above, framed by calligraphic bands and foliate details on red, green and yellow silk grounds
Condition
Condition generally good, on a linen backing, the colours of the silk grounds very bright, very few minor tears in silk ground, few minor dents in metal threads, as viewed.
