la panse sculptée en léger relief d'un phénix perché sur une branche de bambou au-dessus des pivoines sur une face et d'un dragon à la poursuite de la perle sacrée sur l'autre, le col flanqué d'anses en têtes d'éléphants stylisées, le couvercle à décor de chauves-souris surmonté d'une prise en forme de lion bouddhiste (2)

Condition

The vase and cover are in overall good condition. The jade is of a beautiful even pale celadon tone with a few natural fissures running through it that have cleverly been incorporated into the design. There is a ca. 0,5cm wide shallow old chip to the rim and some minute frits to the edge of the rim. The cover has a ca. 3 x 2cm wide shallow chip to one corner and several small bruises to the rims.
