couché, les pattes repliées sous lui, la tête tournée vers l'arrière, la pierre de couleur claire au doux poli, socle (2)

Acquired from a Dutch collection in the 1970s.

Condition

The horse is in overall very good condition. There is a tiny old fritt to the tips of both ears, one associated with a natural vein in the stone that runs through the ear down into the shoulders on the back. The colour of the stone is of a slightly more celadon tone than the catalogue illustration suggests.
