Condition

This work in very good overall condition. There is a tiny hole by the right upper edge. There is some material's inclusion between the two superimposed plastics, especially to the lower part of the work. Colours are warmer compared to the catalogue illustration.

[...] si potrebbe quindi intendere la fustellatura dei "moduli sfasati", apparentemente meccanica, riferendosi alle schede perforate dei primi computer, come una sorta di codice linguistico muto, iterato e riportato su tre livelli interagenti. [...] Il ciclo degli sfasati, fogli di plastica non allineati e disponibili all'incidenza del caso, introduce inoltre nell'opera di Dadamaino un principio che verrà attestato anche in seguito: la regola è necessaria al progetto, nell'arte come nella vita, ma la verità dell'essere è ben altra cosa, nella sua intrinseca irrazionalità."

"[...] we could therefore consider the punching ot the "out of sync modules", apparently mechanic, referring to the early computers' punched cards, as a sort of silent linguistic code, repeated and carried on three interacting levels. [...] The "out of sync" cycle, non aligned plastic sheets open to the incidence of chance, also introduces in Dadamaino's work a principle that will be confirmed even after: the rule is necessary to the project, in art as in life, but the truth of being is something else, in its intrinsic irrationality"
