Condition

This work appears to be in generally good overall condition. There are three minor chips by the lower part of the column and traces of oxidation by the centre of the column. There are traces of halo on the surface.

Catalogue Note

I insist that the sculpture surfaces be read carefully and slowly, even though just a moment before you saw the ensamble forms as essentially geometric and monumental (...) The detail in relief and the mirror polished surface give the viewer a great deal to look at, to capture and hold the eye. (...). I really want people to feel the works on an intimate basis as well as to see them monumentally.
