Condition
Executed on white wove paper, not laid down, fixed to the backing sheet at three points along the curved upper edge. The lower and lower right edges are deckled, indicating the sheet has probably been taken from a sketchbook and cut to the desired shape by the artist. There are five artists pinholes around the outside of the composition. The left edge is slightly uneven with some minor creases and a tiny nick near the centre. There is a tiny nick to the lower edge to the left of the signature. There is a very thin band of time-staining around the edges and a few minuscule specks of foxing, otherwise this work is in overall very good condition.
