Description

  • Steel with wood, velvet and rubies
the tapering steel blade with swelled tip, the hilt decorated mainly with rubies set in the kundan technique with gold overlaid floral design along the edges, with later scabbard

Condition

In overall good condition, some minor stains and oxidisation to blade, some of gold overlay design on hilt rubbed resulting in some losses, the scabbard covered with velvet, also rubbed and worn, with a gilt mount with oxidisation, as viewed.
