盒蓋內題職：
按當簋器制為殷代晚期之宗彝也。內底銘之己□者，與宋代著錄之宣和《博古圖錄》、《薛氏款識》、《嘯堂集古錄》諸書中所謂商「己舉彝」正同矣。且其文樣雖稍從畧，亦殆相似，而唯異於器大小耳。疑兩器為殷代同房同時之作歟。平成辛巳九月武江松丸道雄職。
