turned slightly to her right, her face with parted lips and almond-shaped eyes, her centrally parted wavy hair brushed back behind the ears and falling in long curls down the sides of the neck; mounted on a 19th-century Carrara marble circular socle.

Condition
As shown and described, carved in relief. Surface worn overall with some repolish. With scattered chips and abrasions, including chips to bottom of neck, and small chips and abrasions to tip of nose. Stress crack running vertically up proper right side of neck. Rust stains on chin and lips. Back of head with wedge of plaster supporting head on socle. Approximately 2 1/4 by 1 inch hollow on back of proper right side of head.
