  • An Attic Red-Figured Bell Krater, attributed to the Painter of Würzburg 523
  • terracotta
  • Height 13 in. 33 cm.
painted with seated Dionysos attended by two maenads and two satyrs, the maenads’ chitons richly embroidered, three youths wearing voluminous himations conversing on the reverse, the details in added white and touches of red.
