Each having a rectangular crestrail painted with stylized classical leafage in gilt on a black ground, above a drop-in seat, the frame conformingly painted with stylized leafage and continuing to ring-turned tapering legs joined by turned stretchers. Some restoration to paint.

Condition
Paint with wear and losses; small chips to wood throughout. Chairs are stamped 1, 4, 5, 8, 10, and 12 respectively. Chair stamped 12 also with "III" carved on front rail. Chairs stamped 8 and 5 with later corner brackets, and chair stamped 5 with significant paint loss.
