Condition
Two age cracks to top now with infill. Overpainted age crack to both interior surfaces as well. Reglued break to foot of one leg. Secondary woods are Poplar, Mahogany and White Pine.

Catalogue Note
A similar pair of tables, illustrated in Nancy McClelland, Duncan Phyfe and the English Regency, 1795-1830, W.R. Scott, 1939, pg. 290, and sold at Sotheby’s in June 1986, was made by Duncan Phyfe for Thomas Cornell Pearsall for Belmont, the family’s country estate. A similar table was sold at Sotheby’s in 1996 and another pair was sold at Sotheby’s on October 15, 1999.
