Condition

The right hand crane in the catalogue illustration has been broken through the neck and restored. The beak is extensively restored and at least two-thirds made-up. Some loss to the enamels to the feathers to the back. The left hand crane has scattered loss to the enamels to the beak and back. These do appear to be a pair; however, the base on the left has a greenish white glaze showing through the brown on the base, which differentiates it from the other.
