Condition
Unexamined out of frame.
Sound board. The board has been unevenly cut along the bottom edge with a resultant uneven edge.
There is very faint craquelure to areas of the composition in line with the grain of the wood. This is only visible upon close inspection. There is slight flattening to one or two of the thicker areas of raised impasto, with further minor surface dirt and dust, but this excepting the work appears in excellent overall condition.
Ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouchings.
Housed behind glass in an ornate gilt wooden frame, float-mounted against a cream background. Unexamined out of frame.
