Condition
The painting is in good condition. It remains on its original canvas and frame. The canvas is correctly mounted.
Two horizontal lines are noticeable on the canvas, running from the left center border to the right center border, due to the central piece of the frame in the back. The painting has been recently cleaned - the cleaning was correctly executed.
Under the UV lamp, a homogeneous light varnish is observable.
Restorations run along the borders of the frame, due to the friction with the frame. A 4cm wide restoration lies on the right of the cauldron, next to the handle; a 1cm wide restoration is visible in the middle of the cauldron; finally, a very light restoration is visible at the bottom of the cauldron, on the right.
