Condition
Original canvas, with the artist's signature on the reverse. Ultra-violet light reveals two tiny spots of fluorescence in the dark pigments in the upper-right quadrant which may correspond to minimal signs of retouching, otherwise there are no visible signs of retouching. This painting is in very good original condition and ready to hang.
Presented in a decorative black-painted and partially gilt frame. The colours in the original are somewhat deeper and richer than in the catalogue illustration.
