Condition

The canvas is unlined, with the artist's original signature visible on the reverse. There are some localised fine lines of craquelure associated with the thicker impasto which, apart from some intermittent minor losses at the extreme edges of the canvas, is well preserved. Under ultraviolet light some of the pigments (notably the deep blue) fluoresce, however there do not appear to be any notable signs of retouching. This work is in good original condition. The work is sold unframed, with a black tape around the edges.
