Condition

Overall in very good condition. The glazed earthenware with a few very light scattered surface scratches consistent with gentle handling. The glaze with some very minor imperfections and minute scattered air bubbles, likely inherent in the making. One of the glass tiles of the shade with one hairline crack measuring the width of the tile, approximately 2 inches in length. The recessed contours of the design with some light surface soiling localized around the shade leading and encircling the switch. The glass tiles display nuanced tones of mauve and cream when illuminated. The green glaze of the shade and standard show beautiful continuity of tone in a vivid sea green hue, with accents of dark charcoal gray to the apex of the shade and the upper portion of the standard. A wonderful example of the form showing satisfying proportion and scale.
