  • bronze, mid-brown patina, on a fluted veined red marble base with ormolu mounts

Condition

Overall the condition of the bronze is good with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There are stable slightly visible original joints, including at the proper right shoulder, thighs and putto's mouth. Mercury is slightly loose on the putto and his proper left thigh joint and right helmet wing are a little loose. There is a little rubbing to the high points and some minor scratches. The caduceus is missing. There is spotting and wear to the ormolu.
