Overall the condition of the marbles is very good with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is minor veining to the marble consistent with the material. There are a few small naturally occurring inclusions, including to the Bacchante's proper right thigh. There are chips and abrasions to the edges and corners of the bases, as well as a large loss to one of the corners of Hebe's base. There are further small chips including to the edges of Hebe's bowl, to the cymbals, and to the edges of the drapery. The tip of the Bacchante's proper left little finger is missing.
