Condition

The canvas has an old relining. The surface of the work is quite dirty and the painting would benefit from a professional surface clean. Under ultra-violet light no signs of retouching are visible, and this painting is in good condition. The colours are richer and somewhat deeper in reality than in the catalogue illustration. Presented in a decorative gilt frame
