Condition
The canvas has not been lined. Ultra-violet light reveals no visible signs of retouching; the pigments in some scattered spots appear to fluoresce green, however these do not clearly correspond to retouching. This painting is in good original condition and ready to hang.
The catalogue illustration is reasonably accurate however the colours in reality are somewhat deeper overall, with slightly less of a yellow-orange cast.
Presented in a decorative gilt frame, with a narrow fabric-covered inner slip.
