Condition

The sheet has been backed with japan paper. There are old losses at two outer corners (outside the composition and not visible in the catalogue illustration), a number of small tears and a small circa 2 by 1.5cm loss at the extreme left edge of the sheet, and a small 0.5cm old puncture in the background in the lower-left quadrant. There are a number of light old scattered creases notably horizontal and vertically crossing in the centre (some faintly visible in the catalogue illustration), and an old mat mark parallel and near the edges of the sheet. The colours of the sheet are somewhat lighter and richer in reality than in the illustration, and less pink overall. Presented framed and glazed, the extreme edges of the sheet covered by the mat.
