Condition
The panel is flat, even and ensuring a stable support. Ultraviolet light reveals some scattered minor signs of retouching notably spots in the lower right corner and possibly in the shadow near the centre left of the composition. Some of the pigments (notably the whites) fluoresce green however these would appear to be the artist's original. There are some scattered small spots of superficial abrasion and old paint flaking notably in the darker wall paintings in the background either side of the centre (possibly with some associated retouching), aside from which this painting is in good overall condition.
Presented in a decorative gilt frame with a nameplate.
