Condition
Overall the condition of the bronze is good. There is wear and dirt to the surface consistent with age and handling with some particular rubbing to the lacquer to the faces and arm coming across the two. There are little spats of white pigment on the top of the sculpture. The plate covering the back is cast separately and is slightly loose. There are a few areas of very small pits/ lacunae to the bronze, including to the ground behind the figure on the right.
