Catalogue Note
This beautiful plaster is the model for one of the reclining figures at the base of a candelabrum in St. Paul's Cathedral in London dedicated to the Rev. Thomas Boyle Murray. Pegram exhibited the fully worked model of the candelabrum in 1898, a year later than the present plaster and another with the same subject (probably it's pendant).
