- 11 gelatin silver prints
- 10 x 8 inches
a group of 11 toned photographs, comprising 'Untitled from Easton Portraits' and ten photographs from the series '2046,' each signed, dated, and annotated in pencil on the reverse, 1988 and 1996, the first printed in 1998 (11)
Provenance
From 2046: Acquired from the photographer, 1996
'Untitled from Easton Portraits': Swann Galleries, 20 October 2005, Sale 2061, Lot 360
Condition
These 11 prints, each on semi-glossy double-weight paper, are in generally excellent condition. Some of the black margins are bumped and chipped.
The reverse of each photograph contains the series name ('Easton Portraits' or '2046'). The ten prints from '2046' are numbered sequentially in an unidentified hand in pencil from 1015 through 1024.
The reverse of 'Untitled from Easton Portraits' is dated both '1988,' the negative date, and '1998,' presumably when it was printed.
