Catalogue Note

This clock is one of a group of four produced by Alessi.  Others included designs by Pio Manzù, Joe Colombo and Bob Venturi.  The Alessi catalogue introduction to all four clocks noted that they were all 'well-made, gay and authentic, with that tiny rebellious touch peculiar to design of the highest quality'.
