  • Two Gargoyles

  • 23 by 55cm. and 20.5 by 51cm., 9 by 21 5/8 in. and 8 by 20in.

Condition

There is dirt and wear to the surfaces consistent with age. The gargoyles were intended to be outside and there is consequently weathering throughout with losses to the surface details. There are chips, pits and small losses throughout. There are some larger losses including to the back and right side of the longer gargoyle, and to the back and left side of the smaller gargoyle. There are losses to the mouths of both gargoyles. There is particular pitting to the smaller gargoyle.
