Condition

Movement running at time of cataloguing, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time and may need service at the buyer's discretion. All panels in very good condition with some light scratches and age. Case has very light wear with very light loss of plating on edges, several light dents and scratches throughout. Hands oxidized and scratched. Platform with loss of plating. Would benefit from a cleaning throughout.

The present lot was retailed by the jewelry firm VE. J. Magnin Guedin & Co. which was located in Union Square in New York City. Prominent importers, Magnin Guedin & Co. were involved in the watch and clock industry for over 50 years until their ultimate closure in 1882.
