Condition

Running at the time of cataloguing, however may require service in the future. The dial is aged appropriately. The case has one lacking one diamond to the upper right hand lug. The onyx is in two portions, separated at 1:30 and at 7:30. The case is numbered 25059. The buckle is numbered 14832

Catalogue Note

Accompanied by a signed statement by an heir that the piece was originally owned by Maybelle Hogan, the wife of famed French Art Deco illustrator and designer Paul Iribe. They were separated in 1928 due to Iribe's affair with Coco Chanel.
