Condition

A very attractive dress watch. The movement is running at the time of cataloguing, however may require service in the future. The dial is cosmetically very clean and attractive. There are some slight scratches to the surround of indexes at 3, 4 and 9 o'clock and a small dent at 8:30 on the dial, and may have been cleaned at some point. The case shows excellent definition throughout, some light surface scuffs but has likely not been polished; all lines and edges well preserved throughout.

Catalogue Note

Accompanied by an Extract from the Archives confirming date of sale on 10 August 1953.

Ref. 613 is quite rare and was produced approximately from 1935 until 1953. This particular model is fitted with a calibre that is commonly used in wristwatches. Being thinner than a pocketwatch movement, this calibre was likely chosen so that the watch could retain an elegant, slim profile.

The total diamond weight is approximately 4.45 cts.
