Catalogue Note

Maison Hatot was established by Léon Hatot (1883-1953) in 1911. Based in Paris, the atelier was an important supplier of watches and jewelry to some of the finest retailers of Rue de la Paix, among them Boucheron, Asprey and Van Cleef & Arpels.

In 1939, the firm's production was halted due to the war, and a memorable sale was held 60 years later in Geneva upon the discovery of a bank vault of stock and original drawings. Recently, the Hatot brand has re-emerged as a luxury retailer, preserving its rich tradition of design.
