• manual-winding movement, 19 jewels • silvered dial, black Roman numerals • platinum square case, diamond-set bezel, semi-hooded openwork diamond-set lugs, diamond-set crown, 18k yellow gold case back secured by four screws on the band • dial signed Cartier, movement signed European Watch & Clock Co., Inc., case hand-stamped with Cartier reference numbers, case stamped with London import marks for 1929 • completed by a black cord with diamond-set enhancements
Condition
The movement is currently not running and the department can provide an approximate cost for repairs. The case is in fantastic condition with very good definition to the hallmarks and the Cartier reference numbers are easily legible as 16927 and 8677, and this number is repeated to the inside of the bezel. Two screws have been recently replaced.The dial appears to have been cleaned and re-printed with some losses to the edges of the 9 and 10 numerals.
