Condition

Running at the time of cataloguing, however may require service in the future. Some minor scratches to the crystal and date magnifier. Some small portions of loss to the bezel and pitting to the screw down case back. Bracelet is somewhat stretched. Overall, case, dial, and movement in good condition. Bracelet circumference 180 mm.

The present lot is being offered on behalf of Richard Burgi, the famous American actor. He is best known for his work in the television drama Desperate Housewives, and has also played leading roles in films such as In Her Shoes. Mr. Burgi frequently wore this watch whilst in character. Sotheby's is honored to offer this piece for the first time at auction with this fascinating provenance.
