The movement is running at the time of cataloging and the hands set correclty. The case is in good overall condition with all original diamonds present. It would benefit from an overhaul and clean to return to its former sparkle.

The Kalla series of stunning diamond-set watches has become synopsis with the luxury watchmaker Vacheron Constantin. Originally created in the 1980s the range of Kalla models extended to numerous variants including the Lord and Lady Kalla, Count and Countess Kalla, Kalla Pagoda and Vague Kalla. The largest and most magnificent of the series was the King Kalla, comprising of 192 emerald-cut diamonds with a total weight of 101.27 carats, such was the difficulty in sourcing suitable stones that less than 10 examples of the legendary King version are believed to have been made. Although the King Kalla was created 20 years ago, it remains to this day the most majestic and impressive diamond-set watches by any manufacturer of haute horlogerie, continuing to be, without challenge, the King.
