Apparently inspired by Salvador Dali painting ‘The Persistence of Memory’ the Cartier Crash, created by Cartier London in 1967, is arguably one of the most iconic watch designs of the 20th Century. Available in very limited numbers due to restricted production, very few examples in yellow gold with diamonds have appeared at auction.
