10 volumes, oblong folio (290 x 420mm.), engraved frontispiece and dedication in volume 1, 203 plates, engraved illustrations in text, volume 1 with printed "Sonnetto di Giuseppe Vasi" at end, index at end of each volume, original carta rustica, most with manuscript lettering, [BAL RIBA 3389-3398], occasional slight browning, frontispiece and plate 9 in vol.1 with some later hand-colouring, preliminary leaves of vol.10 slightly dampstained at head, upper cover of vol.1 and half upper cover of vol.3 lacking carta rustica, spines of first 3 vol. defective, some soiling and scribblings to covers
