Catalogue Note

“Lewin etched and signed all the plates in the first three volumes of the second edition. Then, halfway through volume four, issued in 1797, plates signed by his sons start to appear. Plate 104–336 were done by Thomas, Thomas William, and John William Lewin” (Jackson, Bird Etchings).
